saturdays in the spring are so wonderful. today was filled with estate sale shopping, lunch on the patio at chick-fil-a, and an AMAZING estate sale purchase, some new projects, and a lot of quality time with my husband. it was an awesome day. i can't wait to share our big find with you later!!! now we are off to meet our sister-in-law and nephews for dinner (they are in town for the weekend). later we have a late night birthday party for some girlfriends. i thought i would share the lovely lilies that are residing on my bookcase. they are so bright and happy. how was your saturday?

My Saturday rocked. Slept in, had Jon home for the first day off he's had in a while, baked a lemon pound cake, and spent most of the day out at a mind-blowing Isle of Palms beach house that belongs to one of the residents' family. We were celebrating two of our friends from the peds program getting engaged, and though it wasn't very sunny, we walked on the beach, played Apples to Apples, and talked a lot about weddings while eating good food and sipping on Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka drinks.
