My favorite tradition on Dr. King’s holiday is to listen to one of his speeches. Here is his “I Have a Dream” speech on Youtube. I listen to it to be inspired, to remember, and to think about where we are as a nation today. We’ve come a long way, but still have a long way to go. Teaching our children about diversity, equality, and civil rights will help us get there.
