Exploring Mickey's Magical Arts World with Preschool Kids from Disney Imagicademy AppWe are so excited to tell you about the new Mickey’s Magical Arts World app from Disney’s Imagicademy because we are BIG Disney fans and love apps that allow kids to be creative while learning rather than just entertained. The new apps from Disney Imagicademy combine favorite characters with a curriculum designed to meet early learning needs and encourage creativity. The kids and I explored the app together, and were instantly enthralled. Mickey welcomes kids in to a world of creative arts where they can draw, design, create, and make music, all with the help of their favorite Disney characters. Best of all, the app is FREE to download, and has corresponding apps for learning math skills and for parents.

Exploring Mickey's Magical Arts World Disney Imagicademy AppMickey’s Magical Arts World has five areas for kids to learn and play – music, costumes & movies, design, drawing, and materials. The Bear (who is almost 4) is able to navigate the app completely on his own and intuitively figure out how to create and play in each area.

Playing with Mickey's Magical Arts World Disney Imagicademy AppHe has a blast in the costume and movies area creating characters with Donald and Daisy, and making crazy creations with Goofy and Pluto in the materials area. He loves trying out the different mediums in the drawing area and seeing how each one appears as he draws.

Disney Imagicademy Designing Buildings with Minnie MouseThe Bear loves all of the areas, but says the design area is his favorite. Minnie Mouse hosts as kids design their own buildings with architectural additions, decorative paint, and more. Minnie’s commentary is interactive and fun, and the Bear loves to build.

Form a Band with Mickey Mouse in Disney ImagicademyIn the music area kids can experiment with tempo and hear different instrument sounds as they form a marching band with Mickey. The Pearl Girl (almost 2) is not quite ready to navigate the app on her own, but she loves helping her brother and dancing to the music of Mickey’s Musical Marching Band.
