who are you?

my name is becca and i am a follower of Jesus, wife to jed, mama to fisher, dog mom to jackson, and area director for a young life area in dallas. i write about my life and the people/things i love. we try to live for Jesus, and live free from debt. i have an endless to-do list of crafts to create, books to read, recipes to try, and pounds to lose.

why is your title "bare feet on the dashboard"?

i chose the title of my blog because that is my favorite way to ride. whether it is on a long road trip or just cruisin' around town, i love to have my shoes off and my feet up (or maybe out the window). my husband actually hates it when i ride this way because he is convinced my legs will be crushed if we get in a wreck. i thought the title was perfect for my blog because it expresses how i try to live my life, free and relaxed.

why did you write in lowercase?
i am stickler for grammar, not capitalization. for some reason i find that it flows so much better when i refrain from using caps. i only use them for the names of God and to add emphasis. i hope it doesn't bother you.

Why are you not writing in lowercase anymore?
Frankly, it really bothered my husband and other readers. In an effort to have a more professional looking blog, I'm now using proper capitalization. I won't be going back to change all of the old work.
