Challenge Your Child’s Imagination Building with Bunchems

Building Anything You Can Imagine with Bunchems

Encouraging creative play can help your kids to learn and grow as they expand their imaginations and their skills. My little Bear is a builder at heart, and we are always looking for new ways to challenge him. When I received a set of Bunchems to try with the kids, I simply opened the box, set up a baking sheet to build on, and let them go for it. The potential for building with Bunchems is limited only by the imagination of the builder. Read on to find out more about these colorful little balls that will change the way your kids play.

Family Travel: Visiting the Rangeley Lakes Region in Maine

Family TravelVisiting Rangeley, Maine

When my sister suggested a family vacation in Maine for this summer, I thought it was an interesting idea but so far from our usual Florida beach trips I could hardly wrap my head around it. Spoiler Alert: It was glorious.  We borrowed a friend’s house in the Rangeley Lakes region and while it was remote and getting there was a challenge, it was completely worth it. It was stunningly beautiful and so unspoiled. The air was fresh and filled with the scent of fir trees. We hiked and played and explored the region all while enjoying time away with our extended family. Read on to find out what we did and find our tips for planning your own visit.

Using Essential Oils to Get Better Sleep for the Whole Family

When our family made the decision to try essential oils back in February, one of my top priorities was to try use them to help us get better sleep. I’ve had trouble falling asleep for my entire adult life, and was pretty desperate for help. My son was also struggling, taking almost 2 hours to fall asleep some nights. Some of the oils we’ve tried have really helped us, so today I’m sharing how to get started using essential oils to get better sleep for the whole family. I’m not a doctor and can’t tell you what is best for your family, and this is not medical advice in any way. I’m just a mom who is trying out natural remedies with my family and sharing what has worked for us with you. Click here for more information on why we use essential oils and to see our current oil deal.
