This recipe is so simple and delicious. My friends Cat and Becky made if for a women’s lunch a few years ago and it has been my favorite ever since. It is my go-to for lunches during cold weather. If you’ve ever had the Tomato Basil Soup from La Madeline, this tastes very similar. Ready to make it? You only need two ingredients and a blender.
one blog of light cream cheese or neufchatel cheese
two cans of Italian Style Diced Tomatoes
Put your ingredients in your blender and blend well.
Pour into a glass bowl and microwave until hot or heat in a sauce pan until hot.
That’s it. That’s all. Enjoy.
Yum. I love hot and delicious soup on a cold day.

I’m totally in. What a quick recipe! I find that I’m craving nothing but soup and bread this winter.
My other go to is chili. http://girlwithanewlife2.com/blog/2013/1/20/winter-white-chili-recipe
I have been looking for a simple soup to add to the rotation. This will do it! Thanks!
